Our Fees

At Northern Beaches Nanny Agency, we like to keep it simple and affordable for our families.

The only up-front fee we charge is a one-off Nanny Agency Joining fee of $165. This is to cover our initial work, including getting to know your needs and drafting your job description, advertising your role and interviewing candidates.

Placement Fee: $1,000 - due when you select a nanny introduced to you by us.

If we can't find you a suitable nanny, you don't pay the placement fee.

NOTE: Placement of temporary nannies (maximum 4 weeks work) will be charged a flat fee of $300.00

What does our fee cover?

Don't spend your days trawling through online forums and hundreds of applications from people who don't fit the job. You don't have time for that! Leave it to the experts to find the perfect nanny for your family.

Job description

With our years of experience, we know exactly what makes a good nanny, what can be expected from them, market pay rates and even what personality types work best together. After an in depth discussion with you about your needs, we put together the perfect job description for our advertising to attract the right people to apply.

Advertising

We use online forums and groups, agency advertising sites, as well as our own extensive network of nannies that we have on file to reach out to as soon as a job description lines up with their experience and qualifications. The advertising process typically brings in approximately 200 applications.

Interviewing

From the applications, we select the top nannies for an interview with us so that only the best candidates are considered for moving to the next step of meeting your family. We then send our top picks to you for an interview and/or a paid trial.

Screening

Any nanny we send to you has been screened and background checked. We will verify any certifications and qualifications they have, their Working with Children Check (WWCC), ensure they have an active ABN, valid First Aid certification and police check. We can even call their references for you.

Onboarding assistance

Once you have chosen your new nanny we can help you with managing this new relationship. We provide you with a copy of your detailed job description so that there are clear duties outlined for the nanny. We also provide a Nanny Contract template and a Nanny Handbook.

Casual Babysitters

If you are in need of a casual babysitter, our fees are very simple.

$165 one off Agency Joining Fee

$35 Booking Fee per babysitter/per day

Generally, 24 hours notice is needed to secure a babysitter.

*Our babysitters set their own hourly rate. Typically between $30 and $45 per hour
